Jean Harlow’s criss-cross-top gown is stunning. I watch many 1930s films. Since so many involved escape from the Depression, the gowns were gorgeous. Just take a look at Ginger Roger’s gowns when she danced with Fred Astaire.

Love Norma Shearer. Also love Jean Harlow, and Ann Harding. Dinner at Eight is such a good movie especially the exchange at the end between Miss Harlow and Marie Dressler. Nothing like the movies from the 30's and 40's. Would take those any day over the ****** that that Hollywood puts out now. Would not give you five cents for any of it.

I love the way women dressed in the '30's. I remember my Dad saying he had a crush on Jean Harlow when he was a boy. I believe she died very very young.
