Here's an off topic, stupid question

I see "DH" in a lot of posts...what does this mean? Is it a spouse reference?

Sorry to be so dense..

Or, in some cases, it could be "dumb husband."

Well, I'm sure that in some cases, the "D" could stand for something else.....

I think DD means dear daughter, DS is dear son, DDIL is dear daughter-in-law, DSIL, is dear son-in-law, DGD is dear grand-daughter, DGS is dear grandson, and so on, you get the idea.  However I've never see DM (dear mother) or DF (dear father).

@stellabystarlight

My sentiments exactly. Many feel that way, and some even tell the person asking the question, it is stupid/dumb. Irritates the the he!! out of me. Guess it makes them feel superior for whatever their reason.
