They both sound really cute, I would try them both on and see what you feel most comfortable in. You will likely be moving around a lot talking to people so you want something that feels good!

Both outfits sound fine to me.  I would probably go with the black though but that's me. Try both on and turn around and look in mirror and go by your first reaction. That should tell you. I try that often and it works.  Have a wonderful time. You'll look great.
