Our 21st wedding anniversary is in October. I always make a carrot cake to remember the one we had as our wedding cake.

Either they didn't know his schedule or he didn't tell them. I worried all morning and at noon called and asked how she made out. The clerk said "she's resting comfortably. " I asked several more questions and she checked and the Dr wasn't there yet, he was on the way.
I told her Snickers hasn't eaten and "has she been out?" She said every hour they've taken her out and no diarrhea. I wouldn't think so since she hadn't eaten and went early.
So I cleaned the house, did laundry, blew leaves, fed birds. Checking my phone first e mails from them until 2. Then called. That's why she said he won't be in until later. I apologized for yelling blaming it on not having my hearing aid in.
Then asked if My vet will be there. He is off today. The other vet is in. And the ultrasound won't be read until tomorrow. I will NOT pay a bill for all day waiting, only the agreed price. I told her the Dr must go over medicine with me. I'll probably continue as usual. My veterinarian was voted the best in Williamsburg, 2025! Bad commutation.
Unfortunately there's a shortage of veterinarians just like Doctors. The price is the same or more. I think stress is more! Pets, are always our babies.
As I left this morning a technician came in holding a blanket with a tiny grey Himalayan type kitten. It meowed.
It's hers, she found it and has been bottle feeding it.
She was smiling and I'm happy for her. A new adoption, what a lucky kitten.

@1Snickers This is awful for Snickers and for you. I don't know why you have to wait until tomorrow for results, maybe because your Vet is not in today and whomever wants him to tell you the results. I am hoping for good results.

@1Snickers How terrible! 8 am and still waiting. I would have been upset too. I hope Snickers is home soon. No water either. Oh my. Let us know. Maybe they do want your own vet to give you the results. Poor Snickers, and for you too waiting. Hang in there. Made for a long, long day I'm sure. Hugs (((❤️)))

Think pink for October! I had my mammogram August 1. Friends, please keep up your wellness screenings!

I hope everyone is doing well. Sorry to hear of some battling colds and bugs. Rest! Sometimes it's hard for us to rest when needed. I'm guilty myself sometimes.

I had a Medicare agent come today, explain the plans. I go on Medicare in January! I swear I was just 30.

September went by so fast. I hope October goes a bit slower. Love all the autumn quotes and images.

So sorry for both of your long waits, I hope there is some good news. You both must be exhausted.

I can't believe tomorrow is Thursday, Bijou goes to his groomer appointment. I have errands to run while he is there. I don't know where the week has gone to.
