I have Resound but not the rechargeable.  At first I had to get a few adjustments but now they are fine.  I know mine were expensive so I don't know if the rechargeable ones are worth the additional cost.  I replace the batteries about every 3-4 weeks.

My husband has rechargeable hearing aids, supplied thru the VA under his disability, so I have no idea how much they cost.

The VA replaces hearing aids often, so this is his 3rd set in 10 years. This set appears to be the most sensitive as far as hearing reception, but my husband doesn't like them near as much as his last set which used batteries. Fully charged, the hearing aids register 3 in the charger. My husband has them in by 7 a.m. and when he goes to bed around midnite, the hearing aids register a 2 when he puts them in the charger, so they hold charge well.
