Hair color

Do you dye your grey hair if hubby says you look old? Did not returning to coloring after it grew back from chemo. I'm not crazy about the grey, but it sure is a lot easier on my to-do list. Thoughts. It's been six years.

If you are happy with the way you look and it's easier for you, then I would not color it. If it's making you feel older and you need a lift and it would be easier, then why not go to a salon and get it colored there? Then, you get a boost and you don't have the mess and smell of doing it yourself! Best wishes!!

Do it if you want, because YOU want to- not because someone else makes you feel you should!

DH prefers that I NOT dye my hair so after 20 years of dying my hair, 10 years ago at the age of 65 I stopped. We're both happier!

I'd tell him to go fly a kite (but in a nicer way). He made a rude comment. You have gone through a lot and deserve more compassion and tenderness.

I've had different shades of red hair for at least 40 years lol. Do what makes you happy @RudyandRocky

You say you are not crazy about it which makes me think you prefer your hair colored.

You have to be satisfied with what you see in the mirror.

I do what makes me happy which is to color my hair, been grey since in my 30's, my Mom lived to be almost 95 and colored her hair until the day she died.
