@Shanus..do you put nuts and seeds in your salad or how about avocado..I find those items make a salad more filling.We are not diabetic or have food related health problems so we have a starch at every dinner.I l8ke potatoes because they are filling and low calorie.I usually chop them up and add herbs and spices,a cap full of olive oil and bake at 425.We are both thin so I don’t think potatoes are the bad guy people think they are.

@dex  I puts mountains of extras (your suggestions, too) on salads. Think because I watch the carbs, even though I eat healthy snacks between meals, I get hungry!

homemade roasted tomato florentine soup & salad......kind of boring, but i'd rather have soup any day than a steak!

@Zag  Soup is good, but like a good filet mignon.

We’re having BBQ ribs, corn on the cob, steamed fresh vegetables and sliced tomatoes. If you need something to help fill you up, how about some whole wheat rolls with your dinner or sliced fresh fruit with yoghurt and honey for dessert?

@Eileen in Virginia  I wish. 😢. Too many carbs/sugar.
