@Black Cat Back and others no I knew that they would credIt the account but the CS was very friendly /accommodating and as I said it was a stark contrast from what I've been experiencing lately.

WOW!! I never knew that. I would just have been happy to get another at a reduced price. I just bought an NFL jacket at a reduced price and then I saw it preseted $30 cheaper. Since they have the price reduction policy I might just call CS.

I have always been happy with the return policies of both HSN and QVC. Recently I ordered a car cane from HSN which was advertised as fitting all cars. Comments were made on their site of the horrific cost of sending them back as they definitely don't fit all cars. When I called their customer service they said they did offer a refund on wrongly advertised refund postage and agreed to send me a free mailing label. A few days later I received a letter from HSN telling me not to bother to return the item but just keep it and they would credit my account with the entire purchase. Perhaps because this was a vendor purchase?
Incidentally the car cane I received from the Q cost more but was better made and thankfully fit my car!
