JMHO, I wouldn't ask why I didn't get a raise. The director is going to ask you why you deserve one? You better have some very concise answers. Also, the next question will be why now?  You could get yourself in some hot water.

When did you get your last raise? Are raises based on merit or annually? No one is entitled to a raise just because someone else got a raise. Let us know what happens.

Neither do I ( he died almost 10 years ago ) but my life is as smooth as butter........I find very little to complain about..
