@Sage04 Actually,I've never got a bonus,just raises.This is why I'm very upset.

I haven't read many posts, but this would be less about how I "felt" and more about the facts and what I "thought".

You say "different job title" which means a different job, right? This could also mean different previous job experience, background, and perhaps different agreements were made when he/she was hired?

Without going into detail, you could be comparing apples and oranges here. If that's the case, you shouldn't be taking it personally, if that's what you mean by how you "feel" about this situation.

Not really enough to go on, but that's what comes to mind. HTH

@Luvsmyfam Oh come on, women often get promoted because they are younger and cuter--and some dress that way for the promotion. In my first job, a woman got a promotion and you know what her ONLY chore and accomplishment was?

She had no job description but gave the boss half of her lunch every day. It was an all women group and those gals fought like cats and dogs. Back stabbed, set up one another. I didn't last the year, but learned there more than in school about jobs, life, and what people will do to one anther.

It's called life. Not all dogs are "sweet" and neither are all women.

So you aren't going to divulge that you know your co-worker got a raise but you are going to ask why it happened? You don't think the director is going to figure it out?

Also, if you aren't going to go into detail here than why bring it up?
