I usually take care of things as they happen... I'm not confrontational but I sure do not back away from a situation either and will say what i think and hopefully clear the air.
Exercise is how I deal with situations that I have no control over. It really helps and I've done that my entire life. I was in Karate since College, and in a private Studio until my 50's. I taught it and was a 2nd Degree Black Belt. For those not familiar with Karate, it's an entirely Defensive posture and the workouts and free fighting (you pull back with as much strength as you put into it and develop control, and don't really hit each other, just end up tapping them) are incredibly intense. Believe me, after a 2 hour work out with only a 5-8 minute break.... the frustrations you walk into the studio with don't seem important when you walk out.
I've had some physical issues but still continue to exercise... right now with the Body Blade and Marie Osmond's Body Gym.... . Love them, they work!
