@qvcfreak, if I may ask.....is this the dog in question? I laughed out loud when I opened this! I was expecting a Great Dane or something big that was destroying the couch! What a cutie patootie! He/she would have me wrapped around their paws!🥰🥰🥰

Yes, Finley squished two cushions so bad they wouldn't puff up anymore. But she loved it there, I never said anything to her. Replaced sofa and now she lays like a big girl.

When we had our little dogs over the years, anyone who didn't like dogs, didn't need to come over. We understood. We met in other areas.
We made our dogs mind, but we loved them to the ninth degree. They were our hearts. We didn't mind if the one that could, got on the couch. She'd set there like a little person. I couldn't have loved her more. I (we) miss her dearly, it's been almost a year now w/o her and I'm sure we each think of her almost daily. She was one of a kind.

Just roll up a newspaper and start whapping at the pooch. They will learn soon enough not to get up on the sofa.

"Whapping at the pooch?" I wouldn't do that either but then I've never been much of a disciplinarian.

I lost my girl to cancer in January. I would give anything to walk into the room and see her laying on my couch. I put down a sheet where she would lay to protect the couch.
In my bedroom she had her own twin mattress.

Yes, let's encourage others to abuse animals. This is a great idea.
How would you like it if someone hit you with a newspaper? I hope you don't have pets.

@Puzzle Piece Totally disagree... Never hit an animal... ever.
