I was a mother at 2l and when I was 25 and my husband 26, we had 3 children!  That is so different then the way young women do it now!  If I had to do it over again I would do it the same way!  How old were you?

I don't have children but my niece got married at 21.  They waited nearly 8 years to have their first child.  During that time they did a lot of traveling, she got her master's degree.  They are married 13 years and have a 5 year old and 2-1/2 year old.

I was in my early 30's when I decided I didn't want children. I'll be 50 next week and have never regretted that choice & still don't.

Graduated in June 1972 and started my first full-time job just two weeks later, married in 1974 and had my first child (a son)  by 22.  Divorced 5 years later;  Remarried at 34 and had my second child at 35 (a girl).

I was 28 when my first son was born,31 when my second son was born and 39 when my 3rd son was born!

I was 28.  We got the house first!  

No way was I going to rent if I could help it, plus that's another mark against you with a loan!

  22 with the first and 23 with the second.  @ECBG---They didn't take into consideration a wife's contribution to wages.  We also got our first home about 10/15 minutes before I got pregnant.-----tedEbear

I had my first st 25 and my second at 27.  There really is no such thing as an average for having babies today.  My timing was perfect for me, I was a sahm for 

10 years but still young enough to build a great career when I did go back to work.
