This is the only place I viisit. Not interested in other social media.I'm elderly-71.

I have never been on Facebook or any other social media except for on here.

DH is very careful and prefers we stay under the radar, as he calls it.    My sister was on for many years but has since stopped, said she couldn't take it anymore.  Too much drama and story tellers, LOL!    On the other hand my brother is really big into it and so are his kids.   My kids are still on it too but they have been losing interest.

@Luvsmyfam  Your friend it right.  It took my years, literally years to get off of Facebook no matter how I tried.  I only joined when it first came out because my god daughter was haunting me to join so she could share pictures of her girls.  After about a month I knew this was not for me.  She can easily email me pictures.  So glad I am not on Facebook.

Silly question...lol.  Do you even know what Facebook is?  I think if you haven't explored Facebook in the 15 or so years it's been around yet, Facebook and all the other social media sites are not for you.  And that's ok.  Every talks about Twitter but I checked it out and I didn't understand how it works so I never went back.  I think if you want to explore social media, Instagram might be easier for you.

I'm on Facebook. What I like about FB is that I can delete anything I'm not interested in. Wish it was the same here on the Forums.

Yes I am on FB but I dont post that much.  I just keep up with family and friends.

Not on Facebook, Instagram, Threads or any others because I like my privacy and don't care about what people eat for lunch or where they vacation. Not on Tic Tok because its Chinese owned and they have been known to spy on you and monitor keystrokes. The only one I'm on is LinkedIn and I don't know why i keep it as I'm not in the job market. I do use Pinterest occasionally for cat pictures and recipes.

Indeed.  When people tell their Facebook horror stories, it just means they didn't know how to navigate and didn't set up an privacy protocols.  Essentially, they "left their front door wide open" and complain when people roam through their house. Facebook is not Big Brother, the only private and person information available on Facebook is what postered themselves put up.  I enjoy Facebook, my controls are in place so I don't get much junk.  I get done friend requests, of course; but if I'm not interested, I delete them.
