Have you ever lost your glasses in your own home?I have looked high and low for my FAVORITE pair,and now they have just disappeared.Like jamies,I have this thing for eye glasses.I wear prescription lenses,so I find the cheapest place(usually Walmart) and get several pair.This particular pair was a burgandy tortious by Hard Candy(Drew barrymore) brand. I know,always something with me.On a positive note,I had a good report from my Dr's appt.

@Luvsmyfam : Yes I have!
Lost my favorite pair of prescription glasses for 4 months. Looked everywhere, or so I thought.
Found them in the handbag I had last used 4 months earlier when I used it again.
A very nice surprise!

Nope. Never happened to me.

I'll bet they show up where you least expect those glasses to be. You most likely got sidetracked while doing some tasks!
And yes, it happens to me, but usually with make-up/beauty related items, which sometimes include reading glasses.

Are they in your car?
I haven't lost eyeglasses, but I did lose a pair of hair scissors that had sentimental value.
When the forest fires in Oregon broke out in 2020, we were in the "get ready to go at any time" zone and I packed them. Luckily we didn't have to evacuate, but when I unpacked, they were gone.

If it's not one off many pair of glasses, it's my cell phone. Put the stuff down somewhere and walk off and when I need them I have to look around. I always say a prayer to St. Anthony and sometimes it works.
