Hi Friends! I’m in WA w/ dh, dd & sil....celebrating my “BIG” birthday. 70!!! 👏🏻

Arrived last night after a 6 hr. flight. The Seattle airport is ginormous. I felt like a country girl coming to the big city. We did some sightseeing today, lunch at an outdoor cafe...it’s only high 70’s today & no humidity. I wore my denim jacket. 

Tomorrow morning dd & I are going hiking w/ my grand dog (a beagle, of course). Then onward and upward to a big mall in Seattle. 

Will check in again during the week.

Happy birthday and welcome to my neck of the woods. I'm a few hours south of Seattle. I hope you enjoy your stay. I'm glad the weather is nice for you right now. Hot for us is mid eighties and really hot is the nineties, which unfortunately is forecasted for Sunday and Monday.

What are your sights to see? With the clear weather you should have great views of Mt Rainier. Hope a beach trip is in store, it's absolutely perfect this time of year.
