My son just got a cottage there.  Has anyone ever been there?  Your opinions, please.

Thanks, all.  Since it is an old East Coast shore place, I was just wondering what it is like or was like.  My family is strictly Midwesten.

Is his cottage on or near the water?

My son was stationed there too.   It's a tourist area so I imagine there are many nice hotels,  B&Bs,  restaurants,  and shops.

The area my son lived in ,off base ,had a lot of quite old homes made into apartments. Kind of like you would see in Ann Arbor
