I am blessed with one grandson by my one daughter.  There was a point that I thought I would never have a grandchild but miraculously he was born 10 years ago. He is the joy of my life and keeps me young. We finally were able to get a condo near them last year so we spend 6 months there and 6months in Florida. Everyday since we’ve been in Florida my husband and I wish we were back near them. 

 

My my daughter grew up away from her grandparents she loved and there were many times we could have used our parents help but had to muddle through without family to help. I don’t want my daughter to have to experience that. I love being nearby so when she calls and needs help I’m able to come. Enjoy your grandchildren, time flashes by and they’ll be grown. 

 

 

I have a a sweet friend who lives near her daughter and she rarely gets to see her grandson. She doesn’t understand why, but she longs to see him.
