I use a pocket calendar for my appointments.  I usually get them in Dollar Tree or Michael's.  They are small but serve the purpose as they are portable.  I had to use it yesterday to change a doctor's appointment. The cardiologist is going on vacation.

 

I also use a standard wall calendar my town issues yearly.  It has the trash and recycling schedules (they vary for holidays), the school schedule and other local activities.

That's great that your town does that - very handy.

 

I always used a pocket calendar but I've gotten away from it - just don't seem to need it anymore.
