DH was used to seeing me "dressed up" for work.  Nice dress, skirt or pants, nice top,  heels (I miss heels) hair done, jewelry, make-up the whole nine yards.

 

Yes, he would tell me I looked nice but I would not have gotten upset if he hadn't. To me, if wasn't all that important

 

I told him when he looked nice, and he did,  but I picked out 90% of his clothes.

 

When he was going for his radition treatments he usually wore nice jeans or khakis and a golf type shirt, it was summer. One day a nurse came back with him from his treatmment and told me how much they all liked his shirts and how nice he always looked.  They complimented him and he said I picked out his shirts.
