My test results finally came back. The suspicious mole removed off my back indicated clear edges around the chunk they took off. No further malignancy there. And the biopsy from my stomach was negative for whatever they were testing for. They said that was very good vs. dealing with what it could have been.

Yesterday we were gone the entire day. My Mom had her 6-month checkup. Her doctor said she was the healthiest person he had seen all day. And, she probably will live for a few more years. That isn't what she wanted to hear. Besides getting her groceries and taking her to the bank it was a long day with our combined 5-hour drive to and fro.

@Sassy7356 You are a cherished daughter! I take my dad to most appts. He will be 87 soon. He is just happy to continue to live a good life. It IS really hard to see my strong, healthy dad become fragile. But I stay strong and give him the dignity he deserves. He's my hero.

@lynnie61 My Mom will be 97 in May. Yesterday we talked about her birthday party at the assisted-living facility she lives at and she doesn't want a chocolate cake or a decorated one. We are to serve just cake and ice cream. It is so hard to watch her try to do things that she once could do. She use to be so strong in strength. Now, we open things for her before we leave like her orange juice, apple juice and root beer.
