Yesterday, Remmy, almost thirteen, had his yearly check and was diagnosed with a heart murmur, here we go again, as my girl also had that.  He seems perfectly fine and all blood work is fine, wasn't told to bring a urine sample, and he went before we left the house, so am supposed to take one in,.  How to get urine from a low to the ground dog, the vet has a very long ladle which was so easy.

The echocardiogram will cost a little over $1,000 at another place, which is what I figured.  I am going to wait awhile because Remmy is as fast as lightning and seems normal otherwise.

A teeth cleaning will cost $2,000 to begin with, and he has several maybe fractured teeth, who can afford this, not the average person.  She doesn't think that chews that get soft while eating hurt his teeth, but no more of them anyway, I say, too bad as they help with tartar.  The heart issue complicates this procedure, so will wait awhile.

I think the rain is over, so I will have to begin hand watering before too long, will take a walk through the gardens soon to see what is going on.

Dear @mousiegirl,   My precious Junior had a mild heart murmur, the Vet said that it was mild and we shouldn't worry about it at this time.  I know that he had a lot of plaque build up on his back teeth too, but it had been there for a while so I just left him alone as he had the large tumor removal.  I just let him live in peace.  Try not to worry.  Remmy will let you know when something's up.  Loving Prayers going up for Remmy, you and your precious family!  Love ya!

@mousiegirl,   I worry about rats and other things that scavenger.  So far I don't suspect anything afoot.  There are four silver colored pots and pans and paper plates that have been thrown on my steep, seldom used driveway as well.  They must have gotten new cooking pots.  I'll let you know when things start happening here.  I hope soon.  Hugs!

Good afternoon friends!   My credit card bank has put a hold on my credit card due to possible fraudulent activity.  They can't open my account to check on things with me because I don't have a smart phone for them to check and see if it's me with a secret code they would send.  And recently my checkbook was off $1.20 and I got a gmail about spending my $1.20 at several sights.  I'm not panicking.  I plan to call the credit card people tomorrow from my sister's phone so they can send their secret code to my phone and I can get it without having to hang up to get it.  What a mess.  I hope to get things straightened out tomorrow.  I'll keep you posted on that too.

@hullie  I am glad to read you are recovering nicely, hopefully your doctor will give you the good news you want to hear.  I think Bijou has been a comfort and companion while you are recovering. 

Remmy spent as much time as me in bed while I had the worst of the cold, but he likes being on the bed, lol, maybe because he can get next to me whereas anywhere else, he is on a mat on the floor next to me except when he jumps into my lap in the kitchen, little big for my practically lapless body, short legs on me, so he keeps sliding and  have to hold him, but arms give out, so back in his bed next to the chair.

Yesterday was the first time I went out without my cane, forgot it, and was nervous, but crept along and made it home safely.  I keep a cane in the rec room and one upstairs as that is how we enter and exit most of the time.

Everyone have a good day.  We are heading out this morning to go fishing today.  We both enjoy it!  We are supposed to have a wet, rainy weekend.  Was hoping Sunday was going to be dry,  🤨
