Happy Monday friends! I've had a day of rest today with no progress to report towards my goals. I'll just pass the errands on to tomorrow. I have my next parcels ready to take to the Post Office and there are several things that can be done while I'm out. I'm waiting on a delivery from Lowe's, the roof vent cover that I ordered. Then I don't have anyone to go up on the roof to put it on yet.

It's been a pretty day today, a good kind of breezy, high of about 82 degrees and not sure of the low for tonight. A little cool front coming through tonight with a little bit of rain drizzle. Then the rest of the week should be dry unless something changes.

When I took the garbage to the road on saturday, there was just a lot of garbage there on the street. On the road uphill from me, in front of my home and down below my home where rain washed it there too. I know something is going on with this family. Two adults and four school age children including teenagers. They need more than one city garbage can to contain their garbage. It will cost them over $100.00 and I don't think they can afford it. I don't know what I would do if I were in their position but dumping it unbagged on the street isn't the way. Cardboard, cans, paper plates, just household garbage. Yuck! They should contact the city to see what in the world they can do. It makes me very sad for the family. I hope that something good can happen for them through all of this.

Thank you for the encouragement. It definitely has been a trying time being so helpless, hoping surgeon will see progress in healing Thursday . I'm ready to start rehabilitation.

Everyone, workers showed up today at 8:15 this morning and worked all day replacing heat pump/air conditioner. They just have to put in a different line to humidifier but heat and air work now. They put cloth liners on floor and I saw a shop vac being carried downstairs. I can't go check outside or downstairs but I hope they left it clean. I kept Bijou in my bathroom all day and he was very good. I moved from recliner to sofa at night now, it is a little harder getting up from but it makes for a better night of sleep. Bijou sleeps on top edge of sofa right above my head and I have woke up with his nose sniffing right at my face. My brother stopped for a short visit on his way to visit my sister in assisted living today. He took Bijou outside on a leash while the workers were here for me then back to my bathroom Bijou went without too much chagrin since he got a nice treat. Tomorrow I need to get some bills paid. My energy seems to have disappeared. I need some pep pills to replace the pain and nausea meds that I no longer need to take lol. Well, Bijou keeps bumping my iPad with his nose so time to go.
