Good Saturday morning. It's been a busy morning. I made chai iced tea and did laundry. Ed was hungry for oatmeal so I made it for breakfast with milk and brown sugar and toast. Then I did some cleaning. I even washed windows! Time for a coffee break.

The weather is still rain followed by clouds followed by more rain! Sunday morning will be rain but they say it will clear off and we'll have sun in the afternoon. Everything is water-logged in our area which means a lot of flowers and trees are in bloom, and that's great. Our cherry tree is awesome.
I finished my Easter wreath earlier this week.

Unfortunately, I could not find signs to add to the wreath (one saying Happy Easter; the other Happy Spring). Not being one to quit I then searched my supply of greeting cards and found an "Easter Is Here" card that shows an array of colored eggs. Best of all it fits perfectly with the wreath colors like it was meant to be.

So now it's time to tinker and find a way to firmly fasten the card to the wreath. People often called my dad and three brothers "tinkerers" so, with Ed's help we'll figure something out. I think the card needs a backing of some sort. Hoping we can find some wood in the garage!
Tomorrow is Palm Sunday and I wish y'all a beautiful day with family and friends. Enjoy ...
PS: The wreath shown is not mine but I like the wording.
@AnikaBrodie, I love that word "tinker"!

Hello everyone....dreary Saturday here.
@AnikaBrodie I've used some old Christmas cards as name tags for winter birthdays or next years Christmas gifts. I "tinker" with stuff like that. A friend makes the most besutful cards, I've actually framed a few of hers. Her Easter card was so cute. Too large to load here.

Ooooh, Let's settle down and have afternoon tea! I'm back at home and it's nice and quiet. My sister went with me and we went to the Post Office then on to a WM
in the next town. We found a little bit of what we were looking for, not all. And I forgot to get the disposable camera. It was loud and crowded in there and their manager does a poor job at keeping their handicap carts in good shape. My nerves were shot when we left from there. So we came back to our area and had a picnic lunch at Burger King. I took her home and I dropped off my bag of garbage at the street and checked the mail box.
Wow! There is a ton of garbage all over down there at the street. A big mess! It's shocking. A cold day in August before I pick it up.
I turned on QVC and Kim Gravel is on. She is fun and entertaining. I have her turned down low because I'm chillaxing.
I have plenty of daylight left to do some outdoor things and need to do some laundry. Urgent! Urgent laundry.
I would love to have a electric water fountain bird bath. Do any of you have one? Just a wish. I wish each of you a wonderful afternoon! Love ya! ![]()

@Sweet Caroline 1 I bought two Bellini fountains here, years ago, one on either corner of the deck. We havn't used them for quite a while, but one day, DD will have them, maybe one before the other..

Good morning and happy saturday to ya!
I love this basket of trailing flowers.
Today is sun shiney, 42 degrees right now and I think highs in the 60's today. Yesterday was windy, the good kind of wonderful feeling breezes. It felt wonderful! I trimmed more on the first of two Camelia shrubs. Maybe one more time will finish that one. I finally got straightened out with AT&T yesterday. They were charging me twice a month. Once for the currtent internet and a new charge for the new "Air" internet. They (or I) didn't close out the origional one when they installed the new one with it's new box. I totally think that is on them. Anyway, I'm getting one reverse charge and have to (eat) the other two overcharges. I called my bank and put a block on the old bill so they can't charge me twice anymore. You can't trust AT&T to do things right. Then the rep had the nerve to try and sell me a phone service. I was nice with my... no thank you, but you know what I was thinking!
This morning I want to throw on a sweater to avoid putting on a bra, and make a trip to the Post Office. This trip has a large box and there will be another trip with a large box and the rest will be smaller packages that I can carry in a large bag. I'm predicting three trips to get all returns done. I forgot, one package goes to a Fedex drop off place so four trips for returns.
I need to go to a different WM from my local one to see if they have more inventory of some .97 cent flower sprigs and the new capri's that I found. My new find at WM for capri pants that I can afford. They are made by Athletic Works and cost $10.98 each pair. The fabric is 57% cotton, 38% recycled polyester and 5% spandex. Made in Egypt. They are very soft and light and the top of comfort. I LOVE them!
I got two pair of navy color and want to see if other stores have different colors as I don't want to order. I want to see them in person before I buy.
I also want to buy a disposable camra to take pictures of the garbage, overgrowth, dead tree, and street conditions of the garbage house and my house. I need pictures for proof to homeowner and powers that be. Now I'm thinking that I'll put on my bra and dress for Post Office and trip to WM in the next town. Like Snickers, it would be nice to get out a little bit today.
That's all of my new business for now. I wish all of you a Blessed and Well day today. May your troubles and pains be few! Much Love to ya!
@Sweet Caroline 1 Be sure the camera shows dates on it to prove when the trash was there.
AT&T should have to pay you the full amount of the overcharges because they stole that money from you.

I'm enjoying wine after paperwork and reviewing taxes which are now sent.
It's been only 53 and cloudy today. We've had 3 walks, another will be after dinner.
I wrapped a friend's birthday gifts and hope to take them soon and have lunch with her. They installed my HVAC on her birthday. I'd like to combine the trip so I can do the cemetery flowers before Easter.
I didn't realize my granddaughter had a dance competition last night, She won best costume for her bird dance, and placed second overall out of 40 in her solo.
She was rewarded invitations to dance classes in New York & more, & judges smooth transitions award.
I escaped the house like @Sweet Caroline 1 and had a burger then went to the book store after the Hallmark store. Their cards are so expensive but I had a free one this month. I got more birdseed they are ravenous.
Tony is enjoying having my granddaughter back and has learned to "hi five". The girls taught him to jump in their joined arms and he stays there, I laugh at Tony.
A father had his daughter with him getting a book, and Tony let her pet him. He kept sniffing and followed them. I told her she must have had something to eat. Her Dad said they'd had chicken.
Tony has a good nose and almost caught a rabbit this morning, I told my son the babies are out soon so to be careful.
