Good morning! ☀️ It is Sunny after a rainy day and we've had two long walks while it was cooler.
I'd rather get errands done in the mornings but my son doesn't open the store until 11 and closes at 7, Sunday he opens at 1. Closes at 5. His only holidays off are Christmas and Easter. So I'll take him a muffin, bread and cake. I share and freeze some because portions are too large.
Laundry is finishing and the woodpecker is chasing other birds from the feeder. they don't argue.

Last week one night Snickers was doing potty and when she moved away I saw a medium size light colored snake moving away.

Yesterday there was a rat snake blocking our way down the driveway. It was a big one about 3 feet long. I put Snickers inside and tried to get a photo but it moved across the driveway fast and under a bush. There are many moles, voles, and gophers. He will get fat!
Please be careful in your woods, lawns and gardens. They sometimes appear as a stick and it's a good disguise.

Hello, I hope you're all having a terrific Thursday.

It hasn't rained yet today but thunderstorms will occur this afternoon. I think I hear thunder. In less than a week we've had 5.25" of rain in our rain gauge (dumped twice). The creeks and river are really high. We may finally have sun on Friday! We hope .....

Last evening there was a lull in the rain so we placed several (planted) heavy flower pots in the front and back yard. During the night I woke up with pain in my right and left hands which appears to be a flareup of osteoarthritis. My hands swell with joint pain and so far the meds are not helping much. That means don't use your hand for anything for a few to several days which is nearly impossible. In addition to planting I was also sorting bins of summer clothes that we plan to donate soon.

I planned to make Italian wedding soup today (got the ingredients yesterday) and will table that for a few days. I love that soup with all the mini-meatballs. I always make a large amount so I can freeze some of it.

So today will be lots of down time for me. I watched some TV so far and just sat and tried to relax. Saw "20 words or less" which I enjoy and "Karamo talk show". I may watch a few "court shows" this afternoon. Maybe I'll nap too.

those metazapine pills oh my gosh, it made me sleep till 730am this morning will only take 1/2 pill tonight too. my brain has become quiet for a change-almost zombie like yet not zombie. i walk talking to doctor yesteday he said i had to make a tough call and what you did was right.

this new pill has quieted my brain down and i feel very little emotion. it just put me to sleep from 10pm'ish to 730amish today.

thanks Anika i am doing what i think is best for me. I pray the rosary daily when I walk it helps calm me down and helps with me thinking things thru

Hey there friends! I had a very successful day as far as getting errands done. I finally made it to the bank and finally made it to get a blood draw at the doctors office. Then I went to the dentist office and he couldn't find what I was telling him about. I'll just tootle along and hope that everything is alright. I am not in a repeat until it's done correctly frame of mind. My dentist is so very handsome. I told him too. Now I need to update my errand list and can add more things on.

I wanted to squeeze in one more errand but I just couldn't hang. I came on home. I really need to go to WM in the morning to get some mayonnaise for my sandwiches. And more bread, peanut butter and jelly. Just a hand full of things.

When I trimmed my hair not too long ago, I cut the top too short to get into my pony tail and I have a disobedient top knot. Not a lovely thing and gets on my nerves.

I'll wish all of you a wonderful and peaceful evening. I'll be kicking back and watching some tv. Wishing you Sweet Dreams for later. Lots of Love!
