@Sweet Caroline 1 I'm saying prayers for your cousin. A friend had that type of cancer years ago and it was cured. I'm glad they caught it.

Yesterday we had Mother's Day dinner at my XDILs trailer. It's in another county and about 5 minutes drive further than to her old house. It's the largest trailer I've ever seen. They have a large wooded lot and the Chickahominy river can be seen from it. She had two pasta salads, one with tomatoes and round cheese balls the other has black olives. I hope yours is as delicious!

Everyone: At the campground we ate outside under the trailer awning. There were many salads, pork chops and smoked ribs. There were fresh cakes, with fresh fruit for toppings, ice cream, cookies, cupcakes, brownies.

There's a fence for the three dogs, four with Tony. Large living area with two sofas, picture window and fireplace. Kitchen with an island, bedroom adjacent, then a loft bedroom and master bedroom and full bath. It's multilevel.
My granddaughter gave me shell beaded earrings that were handmade. She sent photos of big white ducks this morning. There were Canada Geese there yesterday.
My son knew I'd like Aldi and car wash gift cards. I'll certainly use them.
We came home before dark and walked dogs around the triangles under a beautiful red sunset. Then we watched TV a series. It was a nice day.

This morning I cancelled the oil tank pump/fill due to rain many days, and there aren't two days open until the 28 th. I hope no rain!, we need it but that needs to be done along with tree work.
After a burger I watched the store while my son walked Tony and got his drink. Then, did a small Walmart trip, and home for a third walk.
The Doves and cardinals are enjoying the feeder.

Update on our trip to the floral nursery today:

They did not have Crocosmia in stock but the owner is familiar with the plant. Her assistant said she had to place an order for more flowers later today (after a huge success with Mother's Day sales). She offered to order Crocosmia for me from their supplier if they have it. Hoping for a phone call from them soon! This nursery is family owned and operated and they are very accommodating toward all their customers.

The nursery was busy despite a great MD on Saturday. So, we shopped for over an hour and left with a large amount of flowers. We spent the afternoon planting some of them and will try to finish on Tuesday although we expect rain the next 3 days.

@mousiegirl @Sweet Caroline 1 Thanks for your kind words. It's a little complicated, but my dad told me this. In his defense, he is sometimes forgetting things lately. I'm trying not to take it personal, but, honestly, he has no reason to lie. He told what HER mother told him - - this info after my mom passed. She was gone, this info should have never been shared by her to my dad.

I will just keep my prior thoughts, and try not to think of what was said. My dad, I don't think would ever try to hurt me, so it was info that probably hurt him, so maybe he was just sharing. I don't know. He is having some forgetfulness. Not sure if it is the start of some dementia. I can't change it. Just moving on.....I will NOT share with my siblings, maybe he shared with them too. Won't be me repeating anything. Thanks, for your replies though.

@Sweet Caroline 1 I'm sorry to hear of your nephews diagnosis. It's good he is remaining calm. I'll keep him in my prayers. But... it's great that the diagnosis was very early. Hugs (((❤️)))

Wishing everone a great week. We have rain possibly every day, but some is scattered showers, so maybe not.
