I had this feeling as I was going to bed last night around 9:30 that you needed a prayer. Sorry to hear there are complications. Keep those positive thoughts.

I saw my oncologist twice this week. It turns out the cyber knife radiation I had in September has done lots of damage. I basically have a large open wound in my groin and will be getting a CT Scan on Monday. It looks like I'll be getting a colostomy ASAP. I hope I'm not being too blunt for anyone on here. I'm in so much pain.

Then I see my hip doctor on Friday to get my staples out and figure out what if any plan we have going forward, Not fun. None of this is.

As for the infection, I have a home health nurse come in once a week and change the dressing on my PIC line (how the antibiotic gets in) and take blood to monitor the infection. Plus I administer an IV of Rocephin every day at home (antibiotic).

It helps so much to have the well wishes of the folks here in the forums. Thank you for praying for me and not forgetting me. I need all the help I can get.
