Re: Getting Used to a New Laptop! Ugh!

@Annabellethecat66 , I always enjoy your posts and I hate new electronics too.  I just had my iPhone XR set back to factory settings after it froze and I lost a ton of stuff because I hadn't backed it up,  My bad I know.

I can usually figure the stuff out myself but I do not like this new phone,  I a, doing my due diligence with Apple amd I have an appointment next week.  Yuck.

Good luck!  LM

Re: Getting Used to a New Laptop! Ugh!

@Lilysmom  Oh!  Just seeing your 'name' makes me smile.  I told you one of my granddaughter's middle name is Lilly.  Madeleine Lilly...isn't that beautiful?

Anyway, I've been trying to figure out how to turn off the touchpad because I like to use the mouse.  No problem.  My son in law took care of that but the cursor jumps.

I had other things typed here and the line just dropped and I lost a good portion of it.

Only on the QVC website does the line drop.  Drives me crazy.

Anyway, I need to not be so lazy with my hands.  I've gotten to the point where my palm and wrists are not as high as they should be.

My youngest daughter (she's 39) and works for tech companies (self taught) teases me that I love the latest gadgets but don't want to take the time to learn them.

Take care and if I don't 'talk' to you again, please have a nice weekend.

I think maybe there's going to be bad weather here in the Virginia area.  That's the thing about this area.  The only real way you know what the weather is .....is when you go outside and stand in it.

So I googled and it told me how to cut it off but there's nothing in the computer that allows me to totally turn it off.

So, I slowed down the sensitivity of the touch pad.  That seems to be working pretty good.

For some reason the location of the keys are throwing me 'off'.  I just have to get used to it.

I've gotten lazy at keeping my wrist and palm up in the air (that makes a difference too).

My only claim to fame is how fast I can still type and how I can type like I'm thinking.

But this wil

What brand is that?  I need that!
