I love the way the dyes are used on the yarns. So beautiful!!! Wonder if they have large plants. Anyone know?

Here's some info about Turkey's yarn industry. It ranks 8th in the world. Note the dates on the articles.

Large plants? Do you mean gardening or yarn manufacturing plants?

Several years ago I had a wonderful tour at Pendleton. Several of us, and the docent, had an interest in the yarn. (the others not so much 😴)
They do weaving there and have pallets of colors.
All the incoming spools are also unwound and moist heat treated and rewound. Other things too.

I am an avid knitter and only buy high quality yarn. Most of this kind of yarn come from very small producers who often use their own sheep and llamas and manufacture it them selves. There are some big manufacturers..the kind of yarn one finds at Joanne or Walmart. But higher quality comes from smaller places.
I have used yarn from Europe, but not from big manufacturers.
