The drilling is unbelievable to say the least.  I will take a squirrel anyday than two woodpeckers that mate for life.  Awful, awful.

They are hoods who terrorize the neighborhood if you are chosen to become a target. We are at that point now.

Back to to the subject. They are wonderful, and in our community they get along very well with little bunny's crossing the street.  It used to be so much fun watching them together and I enjoyed it so much. Bunny's and little squirel's.

Guess what?  Now in mid Florida near the ocean coyotes have arrived.  Yes, Huh? they have. I have not seen a squirrel's or bunny rabbit for almost a year.  Now I know where they went..... I will say no more. ugh...

@VanSleepyThe aggressive, wild turkeys will be coming around here soon when it gets a little cooler.  Those things are nasty and will tie up traffic in the roads.  There was a flock that came to town a couple of years ago and the head honcho was the size of Volkswagen!  The guy was HUGE!  He was a gentleman though by staying in the street until his entire harem of about 10 hens crossed the road.  Total chivalry!

@Pink123 I hear them but never seen them in action.  I think because the trees in my area are very tall.

I suppose these thieves have many relatives here in Connecticut.  We happen to have some oak trees (yummy),

and my DH loves feeding the birds off our deck, five different

feeders, and bought from an expensive store "guaranteed squirrel proof."  Ha!  And then we have bears to deal with and cannot put out feeders until late fall and then must take out in the spring per town ordinance.

Our kitty is endlessly entertained by all the going's on out on that deck.

No @Mz iMac  we have preserves with very tall pines right across the street.   This is where they live and run to when I caught them in action yesterday. The pest control people hate them.

Just nasty extremelyWoman LOLmentally ill birds says the pest control people down here.
