I always thought that my Mom got "the letter"....

She had boxes on her porch and in her foyer stacked all the time. She would often ask me to take boxes to UPS or the Post Office.

I know she had some things returned to her and then all of a sudden she closed her Q card and stopped ordering.

A coworker was wearing a watch I recognized from QVC and I asked her about it.   I said I see you have a new watch or some such.   She told me she bought it months ago and just got around to opening the box.   She says she has many unopened boxes from QVC in her house.

This is why I try to mind my own business at work.   I really don't want to know something like this about a coworker.   Obviously, she doesn't have "the letter".

Geez everyone .... I posted this because I've seen others on here who have gotten the "dreaded letter!" I didn't mean for it to judge her Or why she can't make friends!

Personally, I wouldn't judge a person on a ridiculous QVC letter!  She was very pleasant - we all have our own little shopping problems.

My good friend shops as a "hobby" buy today take back tomorrow & she tells you about it! 

Many people (including me) shop when bored OR one of those days when you just feel like shopping even though I say I don't need a thing - I always come home with something Or buy from shopping channel on impulse!🙄😉. I've had my share of returns before Q changed the policy - I think about it more!

I don't think this makes what kinda person one is! 

Actually, it's true for this community if you don't golf there isn't many ways to get to know others except at our pool. At this stage of life it is harder to make "friends"they just become acquaintances.

Happy Tuesday I'm off to the pool before the thunderstorms roll in - hmmmm wonder what "secrets" I'll share or learn about today😱🤔😉

We have found that we "know" about 3/4 of the residents where we live but we are only really friends with about 6. Sadly - some of our friends are gone - 3 deaths - one sweet lady now has altzheimers and moved to her son's in NY, and our original next door neighbors the wife had altzheimers and after only 2 years they had to sell.

All my friends, co workers, the ladies at church are all big time shopping channel shoppers but I personally have never known anyone who has received "the letter".  I've heard people talk about here from time to time.  I think if a shoppers rate or return is so high that a retailer kicks them out, that means that the shopping channel experice is not for that person.  They either buy things on impulse that they cannot afford or they don't know how to use size charts or read product descriptions.  They should known enough to stop long before they got "the letter".  People can be weird.
