The smell of my mom's stuffing.  Oh boy, did the house smell so good when she had that in the oven!

The smell of sheets that have been laundered and hung out on the line outside to dry.

Lake Michigan North Avenue Beach in Chicago. My mother used to take me there all the time when I was a small child. The smell of the lake, the sand, even the bathrooms are still with me after 55+years. Simpler timesSmiley Happy

The aroma of apple pie baking in the oven.   My mother didn't do a large amount of baking but she always made apple pies for every occasion.

A forest preserve.  I grew up in Chicago, so when we would go to the suburban forest preserves it felt like being in the country. Such a unique smell.  I live in Minnesota now across the road from a wooded area with a lake, but the smell is not the same.
