Introduced in the 2019-2020 Congress and apparently died without a vote. No info on any subsequent bill. Sorry, not much hope.

What I can't understand is why this hasn't already happened. Who would be opposed to it? Are there people who actually like to change clocks (and their body rhythms) twice a year? A bill to end this craziness seems like a no brainer.

We did that back during the gas shortages.

We already did that during the 1974-75 winter. It was done to save energy.

I don't know if any energy was saved though...it was experimental. I do enjoy more daylight at the end of the day.

I would be okay with it either way ..daylight saving time or not.

They do this just about every year and nothing gets done, it would be great for those of us affected but it doesn't seem to happen!

I read that a few states were trying to go to standard time all year round. I just wish they would pick one time period and stick with that. Changing the clocks twice a year is dumb.
