Re: First two cases of South African variant detected in Arizona

In case you didn't realize it COVID is a virus there will ALWAYS be variants (hence the reason we get a new flu vaccine every year).  All the publicity does it make people more afraid.  No one should be surprised that any of the publicized variants are in their state.

I am concerned about the variants.  I have been vaccinated but if the mask mandate gets lifted in our state (which it probably will) I will still be stuck at home still.

Removing the mask mandate means little. Ours has been lifted yet every place I go still requires them. Even my corner store requires masks.

People think open means no rules. It just doesn't! People need to stop listening to idiots on tv.

@happycat  Our son said that their hospital hasn't tested for any variants but now that it has been found there, there will be testing.

There has been an UK variant found in Springfield, Missouri.

As others have said, it may become just like our yearly flu shot.

I don't have a fear of covid but I'm cautious.  Still wearing my mask at all times when I'm grocery shopping.
