Kidney failure sneaks up on a cat too @mousiegirl   Cats in my family usually crossed the rainbow bridge in between the ages of 18 and 22 1/2.  My sister's cat is the record holder at 22 1/2.  We lost one named Rita at the age of 8 and our family was traumatized.  She was completely fine one day and whammo.

Birds can be tricky too.

@Bird mama   I am sure they are.  I learn so much about birds from you. Smiley Happy

@Bird mama   I just received an email from the vet practice manager apologizing and saying she will talk to the vet at the sister hospital and to the owner of the hospitals, can't ask for more than that, just didn't want the issue to be ignored.

That was nice @mousiegirl.  I hope they apologized for the unnecessary pain they caused your baby!

@NYCLatinaMe   The offending vet didn't and won't, but the hospital I am a client at has.

May I add my congratulations on such a beautiful little boy!  He’s a doll.  The move has to be tough on everyone, I would imagine your granddaughter especially, that soon after having him.  But Lawton isn’t too far; I’m sure you’ll all get a chance to visit.

Thanks for posting the photos!

@mousiegirl

But at least the main hospital knows what happened.

And the most important thing is that your baby girl is feeling better!  (And I’m sure you are too!)
