Welcome friends old and new to the Bird's Nest for February.

How to Feed Native Missouri Birds During Winter Months

Among the trees is a bird's nest,

and in the nest her three eggs rest,

and in each egg, Hush, you'll be heard!

There lies asleep A tiny bird.

I'll say it again. Stay off that foot. It needs to heal and it will happen sooner then later if you do rest it. Walking is going to undo everything the surgeon tried to do to correct your problem. Take Care and think twice. The walking and house work will go so much better if you just give it a rest.

My DD is an RN and she says the same thing. Take gentle care. The work will wait for you.~~~

@viva923 Once they get you past this blister/cellulitis episode I recommend, from the bottom of my heart, that everyone leave that particular foot alone.  I mean for at least 6 months.

When I mentioned last month that I couldn't see you hopping on one foot, I was coming from a place of fear that you would be hopping because you only had one foot left.

I'm am not kidding.  Also, I can't believe the doctors didn't tell you to stop the aspirin therapy before your surgery.  I've known folks who were recommended to lay off aspirin therapy for dental work.

saw my Dr yesterday,he gave me a RX for sleeping and also a anti anxiety if I feel I need it. I'll hang on to it just in case.
