I am so sorry for your loss Meuw.

It looks as if we WILL be getting close to those 80 degree temps pretty soon. Another beautiful day yesterday but still quite chilly in the early a.m.. Right now it is 45 - BIG difference between a few days ago when it was 23 in the morning, even 32, etc.
Meuw, sorry I forgot to answer you. Yes Davey has been here about a year and a half and Tessa is doing better and I am proud of her. Sometimes they drive me nuts which the younger ones can do but then I do not have far to go in that direction anyway,
Need to check the weeds out back to see if my spraying took - sure hope it did. I know it says in a few hours you can see them begin to wilt, etc, well rarely do I see it act that quickly. LOL.
My four legged buddies ALL have had their morning treats, Conrad had his outside venture and he came in and was handed a Greenie - those things are great. The meows all had their Greenies also and I am sipping my coffee - not a bad start to the day.
This thread - thru the years - has been a support thread were people can just rattle on if they desire. Rarely has anyone chosen to use it as a judgmental thread - what a great atmosphere it has been. Hope it stays that way through the the years to come.
Went and checked and have absolutely nothing to leave except some great coffee - now I should be ashamed of myself for not having some food to put out. Anyone else have any?. Help yourselves to the coffee. Have a good day one and all!

Scott is not fully awake yet but more so. Taking him off pain meds. He is being weaned from the ventilator. He's making good progress but has a long way to go

In honor of Fat Tuesday, I left some boxes of paczki's at the fence to go with Freddie's coffee - some have fruit jelly, some have cream filling - whatever you desire is in here, lol
Betty I continue to pray for Scott as he takes this long road of recovery. I am happy to read that he is making some progess.

I found out why I had to post my email every time I came to this site. When I was trying to find another site using Safari, I noticed a private button at the top of the page. I didn't even realize it was there. I must have hit it when I was closing some pages. As soon as I clicked the private button, all my frequent sites came up. When I came back to this site, it remembered my email and I only had to enter my password. Such a little thing but it was driving me nuts. Lol

Ok I made it to the back fence, hot coffee & (sorry I forgot the spelling) bismarks were delicious, I think I may have not left any for others lol, however did bring one home from the airport that one wonderful person brought in a LOT, saving it for after supper.
@Winifred, your post about this thread is right on, Thanx to all for being kind.
Take Care

Oh my gosh that pastry looks wonderful. I am taking a custard filled one and sharing it with r/on as I really should not be eating one.
Yock i got the book "A Man called Ove" and started reading. He reminds me some of a neighbor of ours. So funny. How fun to read. I agree I don't want to put it down.
It was lonely today without my buddy by me. I know we did the right thing but it is still so hard. Thanks for the thoughts. Our furbabies are such an important prt of our lives.
Today was foggy in the morning and sunny in the afternoon. We could hear the fog horn down at the ferry so they had fog longer than we did. We had a fire all afternoon burning more branches and debris. We roasted hot dogs for dinner along with a salad down by the fire. We plan to have a repeat tomorrow night. The hot dogs were good. Of course Hanna and Anders were ready for any crumb to fall.
Thursday we have bible study and a potluck after then have to head across to do our Costco run and go on to support group. Friday I have to make brownies for our homeless teens and their fundraiser among other things. Chat later. I hope you all have a great Wednesday

They said this morning that today it will get to 87/88. Again, I say, we shall see. Suppose to have a week of 80 plus days - that would be nice and sure help me on my heating bill. Of course the frigid mornings/nights are not gone - that too is a given.
The two cats which do not belong here - LOL - were outside yesterday in their cat condo. Suspect it will happen again today. Not sure they really like it out there but Conrad and Miss Blackie enjoy the peace and quiet - they return to the living room and other parts of the house. Those four legged critters - all of them - are something else.
Have a great day - one and all.

It's getting colder here as the front moves in. We got a little bit of snow (dusting) and the sub zero temps are getting closer. I think I heard the weather guy on the radio say, sub zero at night this weekend and high temps that stop at 15 degrees. I don't know if I'm ready for that.
