Among Friends

Stop at Mc Donalds and pick up breakfast (oatmeal for me & sausage mcmuffin for DH) then go sit in the park on a bench & watch the sun rise. OR out on our friend's boat watching the sun come up over the harbor, with the dolphins dancing around the boat. OR in my serwing room.

When we are up north - at a baseball game at PNC park, waking every morning to the mottled sunshine coming thru the trees at camp, or walking into our tiny little town getting a coffee and just sitting in the square enjoying the morning.

OOPS sorry - I didn't realize it was supposed to be about an afternoon - I'm a morning person.

I like to watch old movies and enjoy a cup of herbal tea.

Park myself with a magazine on a chaise on our patio and watch the lake all day long. With an iced tea of course!

@ID2 wish I lived on a lake.  On the occasions we stayed at our friend's cottage, it was relaxing.

Relaxing in my sunny kitchen, on an old vinyl Lazy Boy, which is much smaller and more compact than the newer models.  It's still in good condition, btw, and very comfortable for my body frame.   Autumn Gold.  I love south-west facing windows/rooms.

Sitting in my favorite cozy chair with a cup of tea, my crochet or a book, my son at work and hubby napping upstairs.  It doesn't happen often, but when it does it's my little slice of heaven.
