@Trinity11   LOLOL....I had a glimpse of interest in these meals I never heard of because I cook and prepare everything I eat from stratch and in the summer in AZ it is A CHORE!

However, THANKS FOR POSTING because I lost 100 lbs 19 years ago and kept that weight off...the THOUGHT of gaining weight to avoid drudgery of meal prep made me very anxious so I'll stick to what I'm doing...thanks, again!

@pdlinda congratulations on your long term weight loss! I read that less than 2% actually maintain weight loss! That's why even the new popular weight loss drugs need to be taken long term. You must be a very dedicated person! So happy for your success.💐💕

@Trinity11   Thank you.  My weight is always primary in my thinking...I KNOW that even the most "minor" transgression might set me on the road to ruin...believe me, when everything else in my life is going "south" I can always have the "peace of mind" of looking at myself and knowing I have the strength to get through difficulties because I stick to my daily eating routine.

I very much understand and I think I was meant to read your post today. My husband has been gravely ill lately and I have neglected my Type 1 diabetes. I think you have a point regarding how to gain strength. Not to be intrusive but are you on any specific plan @pdlinda ? The fact that you re doing so well, speaks volumes that you have adapted a plan of eating that is sustainable.

I get them every two weeks.
This began because I was discovering that even restaurants in my area had changed to inedible dishes!

I find that I omit eating the sauces and just eat the protein.

I like their salmon, chicken and some beef dishes.

I LOVE their breakfasts and have 1/2 every other day (no gluten in their pancakes!)

@goldensrbest

We tried them after my heart surgery.  They were "meh".  We canceled and they sent us the next week's worth of dinners.  If we had stayed with them and ordered some of the nicer meals, I think we would have liked them.  I'm ready to try them again or some other company but DH likes to cook.

@Trinity11   Yes, I have a plan that I follow every day....but it's definitely not for everybody!  I eat the same things every day and rotate the proteins.

I eat certain foods. I don't eat other foods. I eat organic whenever possible..  I shop, prepare and cook everything myself.

FRUIT:  I eat fresh berries, apples, banana, kiwi

VEG:  I eat all veggies except potatoes, corn.  I eat a lot of veggies

PROTEIN:  I eat eggs, chicken, tofu, salmon, sardines

OTHER THINGS:  Olive Oil, Avocado, Walnuts, non-dairy nut based "yogurt"

That's what I eat day after day.  I haven't been to a restaurant since 2019.

If I go to someone's home for a celebration, I BRING MY OWN FOOD.

If people come to my house for a celebration, I order food of their choice to be delivered.

That's my routine.

Please take care of yourself.  I bet your husband would appreciate that very much.

That sounds like an extremely good plan @pdlinda. Like yourself, I have to have a lot of structure to my eating plan. Thanks so much for sharing.💕
