Facebook question

Recently I created another facebook profile, mainly for selling on marketplace....while on the NEW profile page I looked up a person I thought I knew - now everytime I go to my new profile page this person's profile page comes up...it's very odd and I have no idea how to fix the issue, any help would be appreciated.

I can get to my profile page by clicking on my profile name but this is just not the way it should work. I have shut down and restarted my MacBook several times but that has not helped.

FB literally pushes that "contact" at us!

it is exhausting...I don't go there very often any more!

@LTT1 YES! Everytime I log in her profile page comes up...then if I click on my avatar then my profile comes up...very irritating and I have no idea how to fix the issue.

Is the other person coming up under "People you might know"? If that's where you're seeing it you can hide that.

If it's not that, you say you've shut down your device, but have you logged out of FB and then logged back in?

Same thing has happened to me. As you, just have it to sell on. Cannot fix it, so I just ignore it but it is very aggravating.

Watch what's in your address bar when you first go to Facebook. Make sure it's either your profile URL, or just facebook.com.

Delete the the selling account.....wait at least a day and create a new one.

By clicking onto her page you may have accidentally followed her. Click back in and check. You can click unfollow. You might also try blocking the individual.

I have the same issue on my iPad - when I click on the FB app icon it does to a friend's FB page instead of my own. The really funny thing is it used to go to a different friend's FB page. I just clilck on the little home icon to get to me but it's annoying.
