And, after much family discussion our friends just canceled their wedding in the Florida Keys. They will reschedule when possible.

I'm going to go see my Dad and take him to Anthony's on the pier for a nice lunch (he is 84). Then my husband and I want to go to the Pechanga casino. We don't gamble, but we like to have a drink at the bar way upstairs. We look down on all of the people gambling and having fun. Then we like to have a nice lunch at one of the restaurants in the casino. It's fun to walk around and see all of the slot machines. The casino is closed right now. And my family was very sick right when the Coronavirus started (might of even had it as my son tested negative for flu but was still sick with soar throat, fever and cough). So I haven't seen my Dad in a while

I have a friend who is in a skilled nursing center. The center is on lock down and I can't visit. I usually go 4-5 times a week and do her laundry and bring her goodies, etc.
We talk every day and she says she is okay, but I know she is lonely. Her room mate left last week and she is alone in her room all day.

My grandson's PANgea Steel Drum concerts have been canceled through June 15th, which is a huge disappointment to our family.
Their family also had plans for a vacation in Bali; then on to Australia for another two weeks before returning home. I canceled my tickets when my retina surgery was scheduled (since I'm unable to fly for 6-8 months). Looks like I should have held onto my tickets. <sigh> We may all be taking that vacation together much, much later.
Will also be ready for lunches/dinners with friends/family, Jazz and Symphony concerts, returning to Dillard's and vonMaur, B&N, and running necessary errands without fear.
I do have an eye appt. the first week in April for new lenses (following my retina surgery) which I have to keep, but am rather anxious about being in any Dr's waiting room! Wonder if most physicians are canceling their check-up and other routine-type appointments? Fortunately, this Dr. is always on time and waiting is only a couple of minutes. He's excellent.
So far, our libraries are still open! I picked up a bunch of books, left them in the garage to "freshen" for three days before beginning to read them. A little safety method to my use of public items in these times.
Warm weather to get outside in the yard, work with my flowerbeds, enjoy the neighbors, swim and take long walks! Might even be able to golf again this year. That's where my heart is every nice day of the year.
Great thread!!

@BeautyLver wrote:Op, did you do all those things last week? I prefer to live in the moment as it’s going to be quite some time before this virus runs its course. In the meantime, counting my blessings and thinking of all those who are, will be going through h*ell both now and in the aftermath.
@BeautyLver Me? I was there several weeks ago.

Me-sushi and the ocean! and to see all the rest of my family in another state!
@on the bay Yum. That was #2 on my mind. I cook pretty good Italian food, but Mexican and sushi? Nah.
@Shanus I know this isn't restaurant quality, however Amy's frozen Mexican dinners are quite good. They are vegetarian, and have a very good flavor to them
Fluff them up with some good salsa, add some chips, sour cream if you like or some Greek yogurt and it is a very good home bound pretty effortless substitute!
Wal Mart and all grocery stores around here sell them, so you could pickup!
Just trying to help out here!

Been missing picking up my 19 mo old grandson from sitter to help my son when he's running late from work. For now, while waiting for the other side of the peak, son will do the pick up. Traditional Saturday morning breakfast cafe with hubs. Looking forward to routine gatherings with special people. Think I may miss our Ireland trip in Mid May. Just not sure, but hey, next year, eh?
Daughter is flight attendant. I won't miss worrying about her health or the status of her job. Better days ahead...
