@qualitygal --I do agree with you about the lack of workforce these days---and I smpathize too. But it is so maddening!! And yes--follow through-- is the key and having all you info at hand and just plain patience. and I have to say--I was never mean and nasty on the phone--- tried to explain myself clearly---listenened and asked questions----for 11 L-O-N-G--months !!! Woman Indifferent

Be very careful.

SS is a moronic federal agency doing clawbacks.

As per 60 Minutes on CBS last Sunday....1 million SS recipients

Are getting caught in their chaos of getting money back they say are overpayments.

I am advocating for my son who they have been clawing for 2 years.

Watch the program which you can find on their site.

 

Don't trust anything they tell you. Protect yourself.
