So glad you are going home - maybe the eclipse is the beginning of good things for you dear friend!  I agree, once you get home, allow those who love you to take care of you for awhile.  Enjoy your home, your gardens and furry friends!  Sit back and relax and take it all in.  Hugs!

I too am very grateful today, not just today but for recent years gone by. Why am I especially grateful today? DH and I went to his (first) annual checkup with his (new) oncologist for results of blood work and MRI last Tuesday. His results are STELLAR!!!!  There continues to be NO signs of anything, no traces of cancers (he had 2 within 8 months of each other 4-5 years ago). Dr said one more round of same testing one year from today, then we'll more than likely be finished with this life experience.

I've always prayed, I still pray, I will always pray and give thanks to our God who has never left our side.

There is just a part of my life right now that is very very dark, and honestly I don't see the light coming back there, but your post really resonated with me, and gives me renewed strength to hope that things in this area will indeed improve and see the light of day once again (she writes with tears streaming down her face...literally).

And I'm so happy you will be home soon and on the way to being better. Your spirit is much needed here!

@PINKdogWOOD

Most wonderful news!

There is always something to be grateful for, sometimes we just have to look a little harder to find it!

I'm sure this wasn't an easy battle, and blessing on you both for enduring the fight!
