It was kind and sweet of you to say that, & I appreciate it.

What was odd, or maybe just coincidental, was that after my friend died, there were a few threads (3?) about friendship here on the Q's forums. Losing her colored my thoughts, or maybe put things into perspective?

It'd never occurred to me that she'd die.

I do not believe that these people flew from England to the states and just showed up at OP's door. Like ding ding doorbell, surprise surprise, we're here for a ten day stay at your house. I simply don't believe it. I'd like to hear the ther side of the story.
