Sorry to hear about your cancelled plans @Shanus .  What a disappointment - but something to look forward to next week. 

What you described is the exact opposite of what we experience here on the Gulf coast (ie Jurraisic Park).  Restaurants are usually freezing cold, so I always bring some sort of sweater or wrap. Can I ask approximately where you live?
