Re: ECBG update

[ Edited ]

Shocked is not a strong enough word and neither is sad. @ECBG and I "spoke" together here often. I'm sure you saw the @Shanus threads,  posts and replies.

I cannot speculate what happened near the end, but I'm sure she will be greatly missed.

Such sad news, but I believe she's now pain free and at peace. Condolences to her loved ones.

It is so heart warming to see how much ECBG was loved here and the ones who loved her in her personal life.  The times I did interact with her here she was kind and from reading her posts it was clear what a big heart she had.

Years ago when I first joined the forums I exchanged phone number and emails with a few posters, sadly a few have passed and it breaks your heart because of the love and friendship you developed with them.  They are so much more than a forum friend.   I do hope we all are comforted knowing she is in a better place and her love will live on.

I just thought of @Annabellethecat66. The two of them were very close. Years ago they exchanged phone numbers and email addresses. @Annabellethecat66  would send @ECBG packages over the years. That's how close they were.

When @Annabellethecat66  got hurt, ECBG kept us up to date on how she was doing. Hope @Annabellethecat66  is doing well.

This is really sad news, and I know we will miss her commentaries on fashion and artisans and food and antiques.  She loved and design and color, and we shared that.  She loved work and cooking.  It has been very hard reading about how debilitated she was, based on the information that she shared, and her insistence that all she needed was physical therapy, even as her condition cascaded out of control.  I hope that she was just being private and not that she failed to understand her condition.  I hope her family was there for her, she loved them so much.

This is just heartbreaking.

Rest in peace and love.

Although I did not have many exchanges with ECBG, I found her messages all to be friendly, helpful and positive with others.  From what I have read, she touched many lives in a warm and thoughtful way.  May she rest in peace. And, may all who grieve her passing be comforted with those memories.

It is so hard to believe, ECBG kept us updated about Andrea's health and then her death just a few years ago.  Now we are mourning her passing.  I loved reading all her posts but especially the ones about her grandson.  Her obit on the funeral home site is lovely and with so many condolences in person and from online friends.

ECBG will be missed for many many years.
