@Kachina624 I think you are correct. That was very nice of them.

Oh, this is such a shock. I'm so saddened to hear this. I did not really know ECBG, but I recognize her nick as a long time member of the forums. I'm so sorry. It seems she touched a lot of lives on here and that's a wonderful legacy to make such an impact with online friends. My condolences go out to her friends and family. May her soul RIP.

This was such a shock to hear. She had suffered so much during this past year and I had hoped that she was receiving the necessary care in the hospital and would recover soon.
It was concerning, when we had not heard from her , this past week.
She will be sadly missed by so many whose lives she had touched, her family and her beloved Shadow.
After all her suffering, hopefully she is at peace with her beloved son.

I remember she was wanting to do her hair and I suggested possibly a hairdresser could come to her because my friend does that. She replied that she checked and there were none in her area.
I felt so bad for her because so much was wrong and she didn't know where to find proper help or where to start.
I think her forum friends gave many good suggestions and she knew we were concerned for her.
Sad tears for a beautiful lady.

Very sad new for sure.![]()
She was one of the most outgoing posters I've *read* on here. Wanting and willing to meet posters. Encouraging them to meet her for a bite to eat, shop and see the sights.
She had self confidence and not a mean bone in her body.
Her age was mentioned up thread. (Don't know why it made difference.) A poster mis-read, mistook her for someone else. She had celebrated her 70th birthday already. She actually had a name for it, it was uplifting, I was hoping I could remember it when I reached my 70's.
She was true to herself and truthful to everyone here.
A beautiful soul indeed. She had a smile that was heard although a sadness in her eyes, my thinking, and only my thinking, the loss of her young son was a constant-- in her sweet, but heavy heart.
She was adored by friends, students and acquaintances.
And her dear family.
My goodness, she was loved, she was loved, she was loved.
What more could we ask for on our way out!
