Not able to confirm. Do know faux fur often mistaken for real fur. More and more choice of rich and famous. Including Melanie Griffin.

I don't like that hat on her. IMO it's too much and looks like she took William's hair LOL. It's not sophisticated for me. It takes away all the tailoring from her beautiful coat with that big frumpy hat.

I love the coat and the hat.  Both are classic styles and have been around forever.  What do you want her to wear on her head in cold weather..ear muffs or an old wool cap?   

There are only so many styles styles of hats  to wear with a dressy coat.

I love tweed coats and I think the hat looks fabulous wiith.  Very classic !!

Duchess Kate always looks wonderful in every thing she wears.  I have a great deal of admiration for her, it isn't easy being married to a royal, and I think she is doing a fantastic job.
