I took two wool jackets to the dry cleaners.  $35 & change.  Is that high or normal?

I think it is going to depend on where you live.  NYC ...normal  Small town USA.....high.

I think that is pretty close to normal (at least where I live).

It depends on where you live and the particular dry cleaner you go to.

For two.  I actually think that's good.  Mine would charge more for just walking in.

@Katcat1  Sounds reasonable to me. I have a lot of clothing (wools, silks, linens) dry cleaned in Lincoln, NE.

We have a new store in the area that is taking over all other stores.  It is called Zips.  I don't dry clean my clothes but I had to have a rather large comforter laundered. It did not fit my washer - dryer.  Don't remember the exact price but I did see  a list of prices for dry cleaning that were  rather economical.  Nothing  as high as what you stated.

I only dry clean king size bedspreads, so I don't know about clothes.  But I bet because they are wool, it would cost that.

Normal....I paid $40 for the same and I live in a small town/rural area. I had not taken anything in for years and I was pretty shocked at that price.

Normal. My local cleaners charge $16 to $20 per coat.

The price mat be "normal" but I'm not thrilled to pay that much.
