Re: Dracula Hanging Upside Down

Kind of makes me wonder why Batman is so handsome.

They creep me out also, but they do serve a purpose.

@Foxxee  I find this bat to be eerily beautiful. We share our planet with amazing creatures.

@silkyk  The Hammer Head Bat sure got shortchanged in the looks department. That's one sad looking bat.

Re: Dracula Hanging Upside Down

After seeing these two photos, I swear I will never complain about our normal size bats again.  A lot of them have been wiped out with that white nose disease.

Re: Dracula Hanging Upside Down

That first bat is cute.  His wings look like they're made of leather.

The second one is just horrific.

Re: Dracula Hanging Upside Down

@Foxxee @Citrine1 @Boomernichols @depglass and Ladies,  DH is a semi professional spelunking.  The fox fruit bat is about a foot and a half long.

The angle of the photo is affecting the photo.

The Horse Bat is also the angle shot.  The man is likely holding his arm out forward which makes the head seem larger.

Re: Dracula Hanging Upside Down

@ECBG  Thanks for the explanation.  Both bats seem HUGE in these pictures!
